We ordered two sizes of this 250 g/m² cotton crewneck and wash-tested the front print. A relaxed cut with a bold graphic, but variant codes and conflicting sizing reports need checking first.
| Editor verdict | A well-made relaxed cotton graphic tee for the price, with a print that came through our cold wash unchanged. Sizing reports conflict and variant artwork is unclear, so check measurements and the code first. |

What we ordered and how we tested
We ordered the Casablanca graphic print T-shirt in variant 90 black, in sizes M and L, approved the warehouse QC photographs before dispatch, and opened the parcel on the bench in Rotterdam. Both shirts were measured flat, checked at the neckline, side seams and hem stitching, and inspected with a raking light across the front print for edge lift, gloss pooling or misregistration. The cotton was compared against our own reference tees on the scale, since the listing quotes 250 g/m². Each shirt then went through one cold wash, inside out, and was air-dried away from direct sun before three days of wear.
Fabric, cut and construction
The listing describes pure cotton at a standard thickness, a collarless crewneck, short raglan sleeves and no hood, aimed at summer casual wear. On the bench the hand feel matched that description: a dry, mid-weight jersey with a soft drape rather than the stiff, boxy hand you get from cheaper heavy cottons, and no hood or fleece backing.
One construction detail matters more than it looks. The listing specifies a raglan sleeve, so the seam runs diagonally from the underarm to the collar instead of sitting on a shoulder point. That makes the loose cut forgiving across the shoulders, but it also means the shoulder-width figures printed in generic body-size charts do not translate directly to this shirt. Measure pit-to-pit and back length instead.
Seams and hems were clean on both samples, with no skipped stitching at the neck rib or the sleeve join.
Our flat measurements
| Measurement | Our size M sample | Our size L sample | Typical Casablanca M (stockist figures) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pit-to-pit | 54.5 cm | 57.5 cm | 54–56 cm |
| Back length | 70 cm | 72.5 cm | 70–73 cm |
| Short raglan sleeve | 21 cm | 22 cm | approx. 22 cm |
The listing states a 1–3 cm measurement tolerance, and both of our samples landed inside it against the stockist reference points above. Our M measured 54.5 cm across the chest — relaxed, not oversized — with a back length that finishes at hip level. Nothing in our samples read like the slim, tailored tee some buyers are hoping for.
The graphic print
The front carries a colourful geometric and cartoon-inspired motif, produced with a print dye process. Under raking light the colour boundaries were clean and consistent, with no muddy overlap where two tones meet and no glossy film sitting on top of the cotton. That last point is worth checking on any Casablanca graphic: public legit-check guides note that weak copies often show an overly glossy finish with elements that look scratched or poorly applied, even when new.
After one cold wash inside out and air-drying, the print on both samples was unchanged — no cracking, no edge lift, no colour transfer to the cotton around it. We can only speak to that single cycle, and long-term print ageing on this listing is not something our testing establishes. The buyer reports we found praise Casablanca graphics generally rather than this exact SKU, so treat that as context and not as a durability guarantee.
They are thick and 100% cotton. Not the thickest I've had, but super close. Print quality of the graphics is A+. — buyer quoted from a Casablanca shirts thread on r/FashionReps
Variant codes: 37 to 90
The listing runs dozens of variants labelled only by number and colour, from 90 down to 37, in black and white across S–XL. In practice that means the code, not the product title, identifies the artwork. Variant 90 black is the geometric and cartoon-style front graphic we tested; other codes in the range show different graphic treatments. Before you order, open the listing image that corresponds to your chosen code and confirm it is the artwork you actually want, because nothing in the variant name tells you what the print looks like.
Sizing: read the chart, not the reviews
Fit is the weakest part of the decision here. Buyer reports on Casablanca tops are genuinely split: some reviewers describe the cut as slightly oversized and suggest sizing down for a tailored fit, while others report true to size. Casablanca's own product pages now state that T-shirt sizing was updated from SS25 and advise taking your usual size, noting that customers who previously wanted the same fit should size down. That change goes some way to explaining why older threads point in two directions.
Our M and L samples matched the relaxed stockist figures in the table above, so the practical approach is simple: compare the pit-to-pit and back-length numbers from the listing with a tee you already like wearing, and pick from that, rather than from a general impression that Casablanca runs big.
Price and availability
At the time of testing the shirt was listed at $8.81 USD, reduced from $9.27 USD, marked InStock and available in S–XL. SKU 7718753246. At that price the cotton weight and print registration are the value, not the hardware or trims — there is none to speak of on a short-sleeve pullover.
Where the risk sits
- Sizing: reports conflict across the brand, and no single review gives a verified fit answer for this shirt.
- Variant clarity: numeric-only labels mean you must match the code to the artwork yourself.
- After-sales: one retail buyer reports a defect after minimal use and a refused replacement. That is a single report, not a pattern, but if documented support matters to you, get the policy in writing before ordering.
We retest product reviews every twelve months, or sooner if the listing, price or warehouse QC process changes.
