Editorial policy

CNFans Tips is written by a named editorial team. We buy the products we review through our own CNFans accounts, pay for shipping and customs, and do not accept free products, paid placements or sponsored reviews. Affiliate commissions do not determine coverage; we choose products because they are popular, requested by readers or useful for comparing agent services.

We distinguish between hands-on scores and guide scores. Hands-on scores are for products our testing team physically received and used; they use the full 1 to 5 scale. Guide scores rate services, shipping lines and fee structures against the same scale. Every hands-on score comes from a product our testing team ordered and used.

We update pages when prices, agent rules or shipping lines change, and we date every substantive edit.
