Review methodology

Review methodology

Our testing team orders every reviewed product through CNFans. For apparel and footwear, we order the listed size plus one size up or down when the chart allows. We log the agent's purchase time, warehouse intake time, QC photo count and any exchange request. QC photos are checked for stitching, sole shape, logo placement, measurements and colour against the listing.

We then choose a shipping line, record the quoted weight and actual weight, and track transit against the line's advertised window. On arrival, we measure garments flat, check inseams and chest, weigh shoes, and wear-test for at least three days. For electronics and accessories, we test charging, fit and finish, and compare with the listing specs.

Comparison tables use the same five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on scores use the full 1 to 5 scale. A change to a shipping line, fee schedule or product listing prompts reassessment of the affected findings.

Records and comparison limits

The record identifies the ordered sizes, item and line, QC coverage, measured dimensions and wear period. Listing claims, photographed details and observations at arrival remain distinct; sample size and fit limits accompany a score.
