Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection review: loose raglan tees in 230gsm double-yarn cotton

We ordered and tested three colourways of the ASSC multicolor tee. The 230gsm double-yarn cotton, raglan seams and chest print matched our approved QC photos; sizing drifted between colourways, so measure before you pick. Score: 4 / 5.

Editor verdict
Editor verdictLow-cost 230gsm double-yarn cotton streetwear tee with a clean raglan cut and print that matched our QC photos. Sizing drifts between colourways and the print hates heat, so verify the chart and wash cold. 4 / 5.
What works
  • Listed 230gsm double-yarn cotton reads as a genuine mid-weight knit on the bench, not a sheer blank.
  • Raglan seams, collarless crew neck and hem stitching were tidy and matched the approved QC images.
  • Wide numbered colourway run in black, white, grey and burgundy at USD 6.87, S–XXL.
Watch-outs
  • Size reports conflict across the brand, and this listing groups many colourways under one chart.
  • Owners report the prints crack and peel with dryer heat, so line-drying is effectively mandatory.
  • The brand carries a documented history of long handling and shipping windows.

Buyers who want a relaxed, graphic streetwear tee in verified measurements, will wash it cold and air-dry it, and can accept a slow handling window.

Anyone who wants to reorder a size blind across colourways, tumble-dries their tees, or expects a heavyweight or premium hand-feel from a budget listing.

What we ordered and tested

The Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection is a single listing with an unusually deep option tree rather than one garment. Our testing team ordered three colourways — two black bases and one white — and took two sizes of each, so we could compare how the same 230gsm knit behaves across the run. We measured every tee flat on the Rotterdam bench, checked the raglan seam joins and collarless crew neck against the flat-lay images in the listing, and matched each parcel against the QC photographs we approved before dispatch. One tee went through a 30°C wash cycle and was air-dried; the rest went into a three-day wear rotation.

The spec sheet, as listed

The listing data is specific in places where streetwear listings usually go vague, and we were able to confirm most of it at the table.

Fabric and construction

230gsm double-yarn cotton is the number that does most of the work here. It is firmly on the mid-weight side of what we see from streetwear listings at this price, and it hangs with enough structure that the loose fit does not collapse into the body. Under a lamp the fabric did not read as sheer on the white base — that is usually where thin blanks give themselves away.

The raglan sleeve is the detail worth checking in person, because it is the first thing a careless copy gets wrong. On our samples the seam ran cleanly from the collar edge to the underarm with no puckering, and the armhole sat where the flat-lay view suggested. The crew neck is simple and collarless, with light rib stretch that recovered after wear. Stitching at the hems was tidy and straight across all three colourways.

Fit, sizing and the colourway problem

This is where the collection demands attention rather than confidence. The brand carries a documented reputation for inconsistent sizing between drops — one long-running buyer thread describes tees that were "oversized" in one order and "super small" in the next. The same theme appears in our collected owner evidence: one 6'3", 190 lb buyer said he takes 2XL across ASSC shirts and hoodies instead of his usual XL, while others in streetwear communities report the tees running true to size or slightly big, with a wash tightening a loose fit.

Because this listing groups a numbered colourway series with different graphic layouts under one page, the safest reading is that the size you want should be verified colourway by colourway. Check the chart for the exact option you intend to buy, compare the flat chest and body length against a tee you already like, and remember the listing allows 1–3cm of variance. Our own two-size sampling sat within that tolerance.

Owners advise hand-washing ASSC tees and never putting them in the dryer, because the printed graphics crack and peel quickly with heat.

The print, and why care matters

The graphics across the run use lettering and geometric motifs printed onto black and white bases, with a smaller set of grey and burgundy variants in the mix. Print registration on our samples was clean, with no off-centre placements or bridging between fine lines out of the packet.

Durability is the open question. Owner reports are blunt about it: heat is the enemy, and several say the print "will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick" if you tumble-dry. We wash-tested one tee cold and air-dried it with no visible cracking, which is a short observation window rather than a long-term guarantee. Treat cold hand-washing and line-drying as part of the cost of ownership.

What the wider buyer record says

Two further owner complaints are worth carrying into your decision, both inherited from the brand rather than measured on this tee. The first is that some buyers find ASSC tees thin and cheap-feeling for the money, describing them as basic blanks with a screen print — a criticism that sits awkwardly next to a 230gsm specification on this listing, and which our samples did not support. The second is logistics: the brand warned buyers to allow roughly 14–24 business days of shipping and handling, plus 7–10 days in transit, drawing widespread complaints before logistics were reorganized around 2023 and subsequently routed through agents.

Value and verdict in brief

At USD 6.87 for a 230gsm double-yarn cotton tee with raglan sleeves and a clean print, this is a straightforward buy on materials per dollar. The risks are not the garment we held; they are the size label you might get and the heat you might expose the print to. Order one colourway and one verified size first, wash it cold, and the arithmetic works. Buy three sizes blind on the strength of the brand name and you may spend more than you intended.

Insight

Owners of ASSC tees advise cold hand-washing and keeping them out of the dryer, since printed graphics crack and peel with heat. Our one wash test was cold and air-dried with no visible cracking.

Does this tee fit true to size?

Reports conflict. Some buyers size up at least one, others find the tees true to size or slightly loose. Confirm the listed measurements for the exact colourway you choose before ordering.

What does the listing claim for fabric and construction?

Grabbed the black/white and grey/red versions last month. The 230gsm double-yarn cotton actually feels thicker than my old ASSC pickups, prints are still holding up after maybe six washes. Only thing is the grey one fits a touch tighter in the chest than the black, so yeah, measure first like the review says.
